Please attend the meeting on Tuesday, April 28th and vote for the land transfer.
You must be present before 7pm to vote. ONLY Greendale residents can vote!
On April 18th, 2015, we will repost our American Flag on the proposed property and hope others would join with us.
Thank you for your support!
Update 10/15/14:

Tim Baranzyk, Ken Kieck and Jay Chadwick met with Superintendent Dr. John Tharp, two school board representatives, Village Manager Todd Michaels and Village President John Hermes.Tim, Ken and I feel the meeting went well. The Board of Education stands firm on backing the memorial but not at the site at Southway and Broad St. We did pass on the concern that we really don’t know why the Board voted as they did. The primary concern mentioned was that there were accessibility concerns. Ken then went over the sites that we have considered in the process and outlined what we felt were the drawbacks for each site considered and why we chose the Southway and Broad St. site.

A new, not previously considered alternative site has been presented as a possibility. Because of other non-related issues involving the site we have agreed not to discuss the location of this site for the time being. We will continue to work with the appropriate parties to move the Greendale Veterans Memorial project forward and will pass along further information at the appropriate time.
The Greendale School Board voted last night, October 6th, on a 3-2 vote to deny the local veteran committee access to the property on Southway and Broad St. to build a veteran memorial.
